This is an image of Adele, the protagonist of my upcoming comic. In this picture she's 16, already an experienced summoner that has put most of her hardships behind her.

Matteo (a friend) had led her to the patch of blooming Moonblooms (named for their distinct characteristic to bloom every full moon) where upon showers of light pour from their petals. This light represents the passage of the spirits from the world of the dead to that of the living, and is the ideal place for a summoner to call forth new spirits' powers.

The Moonblooms grow only in the Cursed Caves located 100 feet below the Earth's surface. A farmer having come across it one night during a full moon was frightened out of his mind as he saw light protruding from the depths of the cave. Believing that he had witnessed the results from the birth of a demon (which everyone knows do not exist, but he was quite the superstitious old man), he thus named them the Cursed Caves.

Since then (despite their skepticism) the towns people never dared venture forth, except of course a few children who under the great strains of peer pressure dared to sneak a few paces towards the cave entrance.

Cool work you got here. Those buds on the vines have a nice, gentle glow effect.

Can't even tell if you used lineart for coloring. Heck, I can barely make a decent lineart, now that I think about it.

Thanks!

I always try to minimize the visibility of my lineart, or at least, make them as thin as possible because I don't really like thick lines outlining everything. But in this case I think it's just the darkness that makes it hard to see. Lol.
